WHY TAKE PART?
Mirabilia is a journey that began in Italy back in 2012, based on an
idea by the Matera Chamber of Commerce to promote lesser-known but no
less inspiring UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The Tarn Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first MIRABILIA France
B2B workshop in Albi on 30 & 31 January 2023, and would like you to
attend – with two days of sightseeing lined up first! Tarn’s
fascinating heritage awaits, including Grands Sites Occitanie and such
UNESCO listed sites as the Episcopal City of Albi...
This workshop is an opportunity for:
- A selection of European buyers to meet with all sorts of French tourism
stakeholders from the UNESCO regions that are members of the MIRABILIA
France network. Accommodation providers, tourist attraction and leisure
facility operators, destination management companies, local and
département-level tourism development agencies and boards … Gain an
insight through them into the hidden treasures of the regions
represented that are just waiting to be discovered.
As our guest European buyers, you will be able to benefit from the region’s extensive professional expertise to help optimise your programming activity. - A selection of French tourism professionals operating in a region with a listed World Heritage site to present their offerings to a panel of European buyers, interested in the French culinary scene, cultural wealth, skills and arts & crafts, to promote the lifestyles and traditions of these regions.
Fam-trips will be organised for buyers:
- On Saturday 28 January, with an in-depth tour of the Episcopal City of Albi, which UNESCO inscribed on its World Heritage list in 2010.
- On Sunday 29 January, with a choice of 2 programmes for exploring the many wonders to be found in Tarn.
